What are sick visits?
Sick visits at Yuli MD Pediatrics are medical exams in which Dr. Yuli evaluates your child to determine which illness or injury they may have based on their symptoms. She pinpoints the cause of bothersome symptoms to get your child the relief they need to make a comfortable recovery. You never know when your child will get sick, but Dr. Yuli is here when they need her.
Yuli MD Pediatrics offers same-day sick visits, telemedicine options, and even home visits to make sick visits as convenient and effective as possible.
Does my child need sick visits?
Some of the common reasons babies, children, or teenagers may need sick visits include:

If your child has a life-threatening emergency, such as severe bleeding, seizures, or loss of consciousness, call 911 or head to the nearest emergency room.

What happens during sick visits?
During sick visits at Yuli MD Pediatrics or your home, Dr. Yuli weighs your child and checks their temperature, pulse, blood pressure, or other vital signs. She reviews their medical history, symptoms, and medications and completes a physical examination. Dr. Yuli assesses their eyes, ears, throat, and neck, as well as their breathing and heartbeat.
During telemedicine sick visits, she evaluates your child via a phone, computer, tablet, or another electronic device.
She may suggest diagnostic tests, such as urine, blood, tissue swabs, X-rays, or other imaging procedures.
Common treatments for illnesses and injuries include:

Dr. Yuli also offers vaccinations. If your child has a complex illness, disease, or injury, she might refer them to another specialist for care. She follows up with your family to ensure your child feels better and recovers as quickly as possible.
