Here in California, we have faced many emergencies and challenges in the past with fires and earthquakes. Are we prepared for fire season or for the next earthquake during this time of COVID-19?
Some reminders about emergency preparedness:
Have a plan for your pets
Gather emergency supplies beforehand
-Medications as needed
-Any pet needs
-Mask or cloth face covering
Gather chargers and extra batteries
Leave if told to do so
If you are trapped, call 911
Check your local air quality at AirNow.gov
We are living through unprecedented times. Many of us are already feeling anxious or stressed as we live through this pandemic. The threat of a wildfire will only add to an already stressful situation. Be available to family, friends, or neighbors who may need someone to talk to. If you have a need, reach out to family members, friends, or professionals.
